I do realise I haven't done a makeup look in like forever and I really do apologise for this! I've been quite busy with bookings etc so I thought I'd share some of the looks I created on my clients whilst I get my makeup mojo back!

Sorry in advance for some of the pictures' poor quality (they're zoomed in coz the clients didn't want their full face showing!)

First up:
#1 - Bridesmaids/party makeup
Bridesmaid 1:
Cream and green outfit with antique gold threadwork and diamantes.

Bridesmaid 2:
Turquoise/teal outfit with silver threading and diamantes.

Bridesmaid 3:
Green & purple outfit with silver diamantes.

Bridesmaid 4:
Blue-turquoise & purple outfit with silver diamantes:

Bridesmaid 5:
Another green & golden-silver outfit.

#2 Bride A
Bride A required two days of makeup and hair, the first day being a peachy-pink colour outfit and the next day with a blue & red outfit. She didn't want very heavy makeup like the last bride, so I did a subtle look but matching her outfits both days.
My cousin Farah - who does the hair in our team - did a bun and helped with the hijab & dupatta setting for the second day.
I personally preferred Day 2 as there was more colour involved again.

Frooti shoots

I didn't get time to do a makeup look this week as I've been so busy with bookings and events so apologies for that!
However, the last photoshoot I did before I went on holiday consisted of an Asian/Arabian theme and I've chosen my favourites out of a fair few, so here they are:

I also did a "Frooti" themed shoot too which is a bit different as I wanted to do an editorial style theme with high colour; I haven't yet received all the pictures for yet but here are two teasers:

Recent shoots

To make up for the lack of posts lately, I've decided to double post today haha!

Before I go on holiday I'd like to share some of my recent shots from photoshoots I've done, so I hope you like!

These pics were from an Asian Bridal shoot with two models, one Eastern European, Alexandra (to change it up) and one Asian looking model too (Leanna). It was a group shoot with four photographers: Nav, Andy, Izabella & Anne.

The first picture was made to share so feel to do so on facebook, twitter etc! ;)

 

Here are my favourite images from a jewellery shoot I did with a stylist's jewellery range Cuff and Neck:

Photoshoot Pics.. Part 3

So the last instalment of recent photoshoot pics involves two shoots; first one was for a talented singer/songwriter Champagne Monroe aka Nicollette.
She wanted a 50s/pin-up theme for her shoot which I've wanted to shoot for a long time now, so it was great to finally do it.

I got involved in the styling and posing (I really should model LOL) and we took some fantastic pics, I especially love the first one:

The second shoot I did was based in Deptford in a place called the Big Red which basically is a restaurant in a double decker bus.. amazing!
The shoot was inspired by the House of Hannigan's Union Jack Dress.. so all very British!
There was only one makeup look for this shoot and I didn't get involved with the posing as the model (EJ) was pretty much doing her own thing, plus it was the onset of getting ill.. boo!
There was also a whole team of lovely ladies from a cake maker/decorator to an events planner and we were all excited.
Here are some of my favourites from this shoot, there were tons more pics but these were the best in my opinion:

I loved shooting both the shoots as I'm trying to expand my portfolio to more than just asian/party/bridal makeup.. even though I love the "pretty" makeup more lol!

Photoshoot Pics.. Part 2

As promised, here is the next instalment of another recent photoshoot; this one was based on a Cleopatra theme, a colourful look and a 60s look.

The model is again Shikira, I directed poses and styling and the photographer was Vik.
People always ask me for before and afters and truth is most people don't like "befores" so I'm not able to get them. Thankfully Shikira was kind enough to let me take a pic:

Photoshoot Pics.. Part 1

Last month was a fairly busy makeup month for me so I didn't get to update as frequent as I'd like to.. However things have calmed down (a bit!) and I want to share some pictures of the shoots I did the makeup for.
First up in this blog post was a shoot in Bermondsey with two models (Shikira & Leanna) and my cousin Farah who did the mehndi (henna).
The models were both amazing and strutted their stuff so we got some great images, however I would have liked more close ups from the photographer (without washing out the makeup).
