My last post featuring the Too Faced Bronzers spurred me on to do a makeup look, so I thought I would include some of my newest acquisitions in this look including two of the bronzers from the previous post and a Make Up For Ever electric blue Aqua liner. The smell of the Chocolate Soleil bronzer made me want to reach for my Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette too so I thought I'd do a neutral-ish eyeshadow with a dramatic liner.

I didn't get time to do a makeup look this week as I've been so busy with bookings and events so apologies for that!
However, the last photoshoot I did before I went on holiday consisted of an Asian/Arabian theme and I've chosen my favourites out of a fair few, so here they are:

FFF: Illamasqua HF Arabesque makeup look

Hello my lovelies!

So this weeks FFF is just a rushed one unfortunately, as I tried to get it done yesterday for today.. Inspired by the Human Fundamentalism visuals by Illamasqua in the last blog post (here).
The one I chose to recreate was the Arabesque look:

So without further ado, here are the products used:

Eyes:

> UDPP
> Illamasqua Fundamental palette - Surge, Bedaub & Inception
> Sleek Au Naturel palette - Noir & Bark
> UD 24/7 eye pencil in Zero
> MAC fluidline in Blacktrack
> Daniel Sandler Jumbo Jet mascara
> Khuraira ACC in Light
> MAC Studio Finish concealer - NC35
Face:
> Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation in 55
> UD Baked Bronzer - Toasted
Lips:
> MAC lipstick in Spitfire & Inception eyeshadow 
> Vaseline

Start by applying UDPP followed by Bedaub (minty green cream pigment) on the eyelid and browbone with a flat brush. Apply Surge (liquid platinum metallic) on the inner corner and buff a little onto the lid. Follow with Inception (purple powder shadow) in the crease extending it to the inner corner area (but remaining in the crease) and a little bit of Noir from the Sleek palette too, blending upwards towards the brow bone. Also extend from the outer corner of the eyes down to the lower lashline. Add more Bedaub or Inception to the crease/browbone as needed and make sure to blend!
Line the inner eye with UD 24/7 liner in Zero and for the top and bottom liner I used MAC fluidline in Blacktrack. Then conceal under the eye, fill in the brows with Bark and Noir (or just one!) and finish with mascara. Using a liner brush, apply Surge to the outside of the brows and make a triangular shape coming down onto the outer bottom lashline like this:

For the rest of the face, the cheeks are just very bronzed, so I used UD Baked Bronzer and used Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation in 55.
I didn't have the perfect shade of lilac for the lips so I decided to use my MAC Spitfire purple lipstick (which gears towards pink) but patted Inception eyeshadow with my fingers on top (a fair amount too!) I then added Vaseline on top to make lips shiny (and blend better) and this is what it looked like:

I tried to make it look more authentic with the closest colour scarf I have to gold, but unfortunately its leopard print so not quite the same haha!

So there you have it! It's not exactly the same, I put my own twist on it and blended a bit more rather than a straight cut crease.. but hope you like!

Naked Arab makeup look..

.. or should I rephrase: Arabic look with the Naked palette!

I thought I'd delve into this favourite palette of everyone's, as I haven't done many neutral colour looks/FOTDs. Personally, I love my bright colours, but as this palette is undeniably a better best seller out of all UD palettes I may aswell use it to do a look that can inspire others =)

I chose to do another Arabic look as I'm getting in the mood for my holiday to Dubai on Sunday.. So I'll be away for a week but I'll be back soon, so bear with me!

After using Bulletproof tinted moisturiser all over the face and filling in the brows with the Brown Sugar box, I used the UDPP all over the eyes followed by NYX JEP in Milk.
For the inner corner I used Virgin, followed by Half Baked and Smog on the middle of the eyelid. For the outer corner I used Darkhorse and Creep to make Darkhorse darker. I used La Femme white eyeshadow for the browbone, but you can use any white eyeshadow for this.
To line the eyes I used MAC fluidline in Blacktrack, making sure to line the waterline all the way round, including the inner corner of the eye. Using a thin liner brush, I drew another flick with MAC fluidline creating a "V" shape from the outer corner of the eyes.
I added Eylure lashes in Nadine from the Girls Aloud range, although I think Kimberley lashes would have suited this look better!

After concealing under the eyes, I used UD baked bronzer on the cheeks forehead and chin, followed by Sleek's Pan-Tao blush on the cheeks.
The lips were filled in with UD Wicked lip liner (soft pink colour) and Sleek pout polish in Sugar May.

Anniversary Palette Arab FOTD makeup look

After I reviewed and swatched the Anniversary Palette (here), I thought I'd show you a makeup look I've done with it recently; I plan to do tons more as I totally love this palette and all the combos, but for now, here's the one (using the Toy camera feature on my camera!):

First I applied the tinted moisturiser all over my face (I'm a shade darker since my holiday!), filled in my brows, then primed the eyes with UDPP and NYX JEP in Milk.
I started with Vanilla on the inner corner of the eyes, blending it across the lid a little and using what was left over for the brow bone. I then used Tainted on the middle of the eyelid followed by a little of Evidence on the outer corner, but blending it upwards. I then used Omen in the crease and blending downwards into Evidence. Finally, I used Junkshow in between the highlight on the brow bone (Vanilla) and Omen, blending down again, into Omen/Evidence.
For the eyeliner I used Zero eye pencil to line the inner eye (top and bottom), then used the Ink for Eyes in Zero to make a topliner flick and bottom liner flick. In between the flicks I used Vanilla with a small brush, then went over the lines again to make them darker.
I used the UD lashes in Sly as they were nice and full for this "Arab" look, then concealed under the eyes and used a bit of the UD false lash mascara on the bottom lashes.

For the rest of the face I used the Toasted bronzer on cheeks, forehead and chin, then a bit of Score & Crush glide on cheek tint.
To finish off the look I used the new Super Saturated Lip Colour in Big Bang:

I totally love the colours and only used them softly for this look.. but I plan to use the more darker colours for my next look, so please do send me some requests if you'd like any particular eyeshadows used!
