Hope you all had a fab time off for the holidays; I had a bit of a break myself after being sick for two weeks straight with my little one.. but I'm back now with a Midweek Makeover post on a friend using the Urban Decay Full Spectrum palette, so I hope you enjoy!

Midweek Makeovers: Estee Lauder x Victoria Beckham Collection Kendall Jenner Makeup Look

Right my loves!
I recently got sent some of the beaut products from the Estee Lauder x Victoria Beckham collaboration and went through the products on my Snapchat/Instagram Stories (it's faster and easier to do so over there than writing up most times, so make sure you follow me!).
I decided to try and recreate this look that was done on Kendall Jenner for this campaign and luckily I had a gorgeous Kardashian/Jenner looking model (Yasmin Badi) to do so with.. and film for my YouTube channel!
It isn't my usual "style" of makeup and more of an editorial type look that I decided to create as I felt I had enough of the products to try it with.

Midweek Makeovers: Charlotte Tilbury Dolce Vita Eyeshadow Make Up Look

Hi my lovelies! I thought I'd post a look I recently did on a friend of mine using the gorgeous Charlotte Tilbury Dolce Vita Palette and the ever dramatic Huda Beauty lashes in Farah - these lashes are so gorgeous on her eyes! Products used: Eyes:

Midweek Makovers

I've realised that I have a backlog of clients makeover pictures that I have yet to upload and I'll be starting to upload them hopefully every Wednesday so I can keep up to date!

This weeks Midweek Makeover features one of my recent brides - Bride A - who had two wedding days - the traditional wedding day (red outfit) and the Walima or second day of the wedding wear the bride wears a different colour of her or the grooms choice.

Day 1
Red outfit with gold thread and beadwork and a thin blue border; eye makeup complimented the outfit's gold and blue theme and of course red lips:

Day 2
Pink and purple outfit, again with gold detailing, but more of an antique gold this time. We tried a more cotton candy pink on the lips first but decided on a brighter pink in the end:

Bride A was a total pleasure to do! I loved doing both days' makeup but my favourite if I had to choose would probably be the second day's look.. I'm a girly girl and my favourite colours have always been pink and purple!

Midweek Makeovers

Hi my lovelies! I've been busy the last couple weeks with makeup bookings and weddings so I haven't been able to blog too often but following my last post of Midweek Makeovers, I thought I'd post an Arabian/Arabic style makeover I did for my sister in law who volunteered to model for me one day.. she also let me record the tutorial which is below so I hope you enjoy!

It's a lot more easier recording makeup being done on someone else so when I get time I may make it a regular feature on her as she's a good sport too and has great features and skin (mA).

Midweek Makeovers

Hello my lovelies!

As you know I've been fairly busy with clients the last couple weeks in the run up to Ramadan (everyone rushes to get married before or after Ramadan!), so I thought I'd do a post showing some of the makeup of clients I actually managed to capture.

Party makeup eyes:

I also had a few brides and managed to get a picture of two bride's makeup; one wanted a simple look for her day and the second wanted a classic asian bridal look:

I also had a few prom bookings in June; proms are getting much bigger as time goes on (my school didn't even have one!) but I loved doing these 16 year olds' makeup.. they're surprisingly mature and it was fun introducing them to makeup that some had never tried before!

Recent makeup work (again)

Hello my lovelies!

I do realise I haven't done a makeup look in like forever and I really do apologise for this! I've been quite busy with bookings etc so I thought I'd share some of the looks I created on my clients whilst I get my makeup mojo back!

Sorry in advance for some of the pictures' poor quality (they're zoomed in coz the clients didn't want their full face showing!)

First up:
#1 - Bridesmaids/party makeup
Bridesmaid 1:
Cream and green outfit with antique gold threadwork and diamantes.

Bridesmaid 2:
Turquoise/teal outfit with silver threading and diamantes.

Bridesmaid 3:
Green & purple outfit with silver diamantes.

Bridesmaid 4:
Blue-turquoise & purple outfit with silver diamantes:

Bridesmaid 5:
Another green & golden-silver outfit.

#2 Bride A
Bride A required two days of makeup and hair, the first day being a peachy-pink colour outfit and the next day with a blue & red outfit. She didn't want very heavy makeup like the last bride, so I did a subtle look but matching her outfits both days.
My cousin Farah - who does the hair in our team - did a bun and helped with the hijab & dupatta setting for the second day.
I personally preferred Day 2 as there was more colour involved again.
