Hello my lovelies!
My makeup looks have been more on the smokey/neutral side of late, so the other night I thought I'd whip out my Urban Decay Electric Palette again and play around with it.
The last time I played with this palette was shortly after my bubba was born last year, back when all he did was sleep tons!
Anyway, this look is a little less multicoloured than the last and more of a purpley-blue; it kind of reminds me of Frozen/something magical, but unfortunately you can't see just how pretty it is in real life with the beautiful UD Spandex multicoloured glitter and MAC Reflects Pigment =(
Products used:
Eyes:
• UDPP - Eden
• ABH Dipbrow Pomade - Ebony
• Urban Decay Electric Palette - Revolt (inner corner highlight), Gonzo (eyelid), Savage (above crease & crease), Chaos (crease), Urban (outer corner)
• Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette - Foxy, W.O.S & Naked 2 for blending
• Urban Decay Heavy Metal Eyeliner - Spandex
• MAC Reflects Pigment - Transparent Teal
• NYX Two Timer eyeliner for top liner and inner eye
• Estee Lauder Little Black Primer
• Eldora lashes: H151
• Lenses: Desio Lens in Forest Green

This weeks FFF is inspired by a client's dress that she will be wearing for her engagement/wedding in December.
I wanted to also update my Blue-Purple look from 2012, but for this look I used the newly acquired Kiko Evolution Must Have Palette (reviewed here) and as many drugstore/affordable products too, so here goes!
Products used:
Eyes:
> UDPP - Eden
> NYX JEP in Black Bean
> Kiko Evolution Must Have Palette - 7 shadows - 1 (beige sparkle), 2 (pinky nude matte), 6 (bright pink), 7 (lilac matte), 8 (indigo shimmer), 9 (cream shimmer), 12 (dark blue shimmer)
> Urban Decay Smoked Palette - Freestyle and Blackout
> Kiko Double Glam Eye Liner - 100 Light Gold (& Ebony)
> Inglot AMC eyeliner gel - 77 (black)
Lips:
I then used a beauty blender sponge to add the EX1 Invisiwear liquid foundation in F200 all over the face, using a small concealer/foundation brush to get in the nooks and crannies around the eyes and to clean around the eyebrows.
I didn't really need to set the foundation as it dries to a semi matte finish, but dabbed a bit of UD Razorsharp powder on my T-zone anyway as shine shows with flash.
I then added powder contour with the Sleek Contour Kit in Medium using my beloved Illamasqua Blush Up Brush, highlighting the top of the cheekbones too. Kiko Essential Bronzer in Sienna Melange was also used in between the contour and highlight to give depth.
For the lips, I used Sabaya lip pencil (from Dubai) with UD Revolution Lipstick in Fiend, accessorising with a navy scarf of course and the tikka from my own wedding:
And there you have it..
I have to say I'm even more impressed with the Kiko Palette I used for this look, the colour payoff is amazing and I'm particularly loving the sparklier shades as they can be used wet to make the sparkle stand out even more. I can now say that I'd give the palette 5 lipsticks out of 5!
I hope you enjoyed this look as much as I did creating it, I have to say I love this combination of blue and purple and certainly did when I did the older version in 2012!
Would you wear this look?

> Ardell Professional 120 Demi lashes
> Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz and Brow Powder Duo - Ebony
> Urban Decay 24/7 concealer - ATF
Face:
> UD concealer in ATF
> Graftobian HD creme foundation Warm Palette - Buttermilk & Mid. Marigold for contouring
> EX1 Invisiwear foundation - F200
> UD Razorsharp powder
> Sleek Contour Kit - Medium
> Kiko Essential Bronzer in 201 Sienna Melange

I started by priming the eye with Eden PP and then just on the eyelid went over with NYX JEP in Black Bean, blending upwards slightly.
I patted on the Dark Blue shimmery eyeshadow from the Kiko palette with a flat brush all over the eyelid on top of the NYX JEP.
I then highlighted the brow bone with the Cream shimmer colour and the inner corner of the eye with the beige sparkle. The matte pinky nude colour was then used under the brow bone highlight, followed by the matte lilac shadow closer to the crease and UD Blackout in the crease. The slightest hint of the bright pink shadow was used above the crease followed by UD Freestyle eyeshadow in between the colours to blend out any harsh lines.
I lined the top of the eyelid with Inglot AMC gel liner in black and followed the outer bottom lashline with an angled brush creating a slight outward flick for the bottom inner corner. I then lined the inner eye with Kiko's Double Glam Eye Liner but only using the Light Gold shade and following the outer flick on the inner bottom corner.
I went back with a wet finger and added a tiny bit of the indigo shimmer to the middle of the lids to make the colour pop even further and with a wet liner brush went underneath the eye with the same dark blue and indigo shadows, following the outer eye only.
To finish off the eye I used the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wizin Ebony and filled in the inner brow with the lighter shade of the Brow Powder Duo.
I added the Ardell 120 Demi lashes after I finished my face and Voila!
For the rest of the face I decided to do a toned down version of that Kim K/"bridal" contouring and used both the UD 24/7 concealer pencil and Graftobian Creme foundations to do this.
Be warned, the picture below is scary looking hahaI then used a beauty blender sponge to add the EX1 Invisiwear liquid foundation in F200 all over the face, using a small concealer/foundation brush to get in the nooks and crannies around the eyes and to clean around the eyebrows.

I posted this picture on Instagram earlier this week and figured it would fit well in a TBT post, so here's a collage of some of the EOTD makeup looks I've done this year.. Couldn't fit them all in!
You can search for a particular look on my blog here, or if you'd like to find the direct link to the blog post, feel free to sift through my Facebook album to find the look you're looking for.
Some of the looks have YouTube videos to go with them on my channel, so check them out if you haven't already and of course subscribe! ;)
Hopefully I should have another look up for tomorrow's FFF post with the Kiko Colour Evolution Must Have palette (review and swatches here), as a few people wanted to see the pigmentation of the palette in action.
Which is your favourite look?

Last Saturday (16th November), I held my second masterclass, which involved recreating my Green Motives Party Makeup Look below:
I chose this look as it was fairly popular in my recent posts and I wanted to do a colour makeup look that people could try and get comfortable with as my last class was a neutral coloured look and colour is always something people could add when going out/matching outfits (you can read all about my first masterclass here).
The class was held in the lovely new St Pauls Community Centre near Mile End in London which was a lot larger than the salon I used last time and held 22 people comfortably, with a few of my lovely helpers dotted around.
I had the room set up in a kind of horse-shoe shape with extra chairs in the middle (in front of my demonstration table and chair) and behind me was two extra tables, one for food and one for the spare makeup I'd brought for those who didn't have everything I had put down on a list.
I started with the eyes on my model, using the same Motives eyeshadows I used in the blog post, and showed the class how I blend and highlight the browbone, using a range of brushes and how to use them.
I was going to go on and finish the eyes in one go but the class felt like they had a fair few steps to do already so I let them all go back to their seats to get started and dotted around to help where needed:
Not everyone felt comfortable with putting a colour as bright as green on their eyes, but I did encourage as many people to try the colour out before settling for a neutral as it's a great opportunity to do so in a class like this!
The girls then came back together to watch me finish the rest of the eye makeup; no makeup look is complete without eyeliner and mascara and of course the brows had to be filled in so I demonstrated this and let the class get on with this before we broke for a lunch break.
After a well deserved lunch break, the girls came back we went straight onto concealer and then foundation.
Again, I went around the room as the students applied their foundations, and answered any concerning questions about their foundations and how to use them as everyone in the class had different types of foundations and concealers.
Finally, I hit the topic of contouring, highlighting and blush which is always requested by both followers and clients these days, so I taught my ways of contouring the cheeks and face, where it enhances the natural features without being too OTT.
I then left the girls to choose whichever lip colour they liked to go with their look; not everyone went with green eyeshadow but those who did had a choice of colours (as in my picture at the beginning of this post).
Some of the lovely students and bloggers who attended:
Of course my lovely students couldn't leave without their purple goodie bags which contained some makeup goodies from my favourite brands Motives, Urban Decay, Nanshy, Kiko, Ardell, to name a few!
I also managed to get a group pic with a few of the girls before we left (excuse the tired face, I was well and truly knackered by this point!):
I really loved teaching this wonderful group of girls; the way they adopted the eyeshadow techniques and made the look their own made me really proud and I would definitely love to do a few more in 2014 hopefully!
I really would like to say a big thanks to a few people for helping make this class happen too; MangoWhirl for being photographer, helper, timekeeper and more, as well as Loren Ridinger for Motives, Paula from Nanshy, Susannah (and Georgie) from Estee Lauder and of course the lovely girls who attended the class!
Of the bloggers who attended, Sheenie, Sam, Asmaa and Aaliyah reviewed my masterclass, do have a read over on their blogs to see what they thought and how they got on!
If you're interested in attending a masterclass in the near future, do contact me via email.
I'd love to hear your thoughts on this post and if you'd attend a masterclass like this!

The Class
I split the class into 3 main parts that I always get asked about by clients and followers/readers:- eye makeup
- foundation and concealer
- basic contouring
I started with the eyes on my model, using the same Motives eyeshadows I used in the blog post, and showed the class how I blend and highlight the browbone, using a range of brushes and how to use them.

A few weeks back I experimented with a makeup look using the Urban Decay Smoked palette and Sleek Acid palette to create a smokey matte black and pink look with a hint of acid green in the inner corner.. this is how it turned out so I hope you like!
Products used:
Eyes:
> UDPP
> UD Smoked Palette - Blackout, Kinky, Freestyle
> Sleek Acid palette - Neon Pink, Purple, Neon Green, Orange, White and Silver-Grey
> UD Perversion 24/7 eye pencil
Products used:
Eyes:
> UDPP
> UD Smoked Palette - Blackout, Kinky, Freestyle
> Sleek Acid palette - Neon Pink, Purple, Neon Green, Orange, White and Silver-Grey
> UD Perversion 24/7 eye pencil
> Rimmel ScandalEyes Waterproof Kohl liner - Nude
> ELF cream eyeliner in Brown
> Maybelline Falsies Black Drama mascara
> Khuraira ACC in Light
> UD 24/7 concealer in ATF
> NYC Black Liquid liner
> Ardell 120 Demi lashes
Face:
> Estee Lauder Invisible Fluid foundation 3WN1
> Sleek Face Form in Medium (matte brown shade only)
> UD Naked Flushed Palette
> Ben Nye Banana Powder
Lips:
> UD SSLC in Lovechild
I started by applying a thin layer of UDPP and patted on Blackout eyeshadow to the eyelid. I then applied the Purple (Acid palette) to the crease and the Neon Pink above this, followed by a little of the Orange above this too. Freestyle was used above the Orange and blended upwards. Kinky and a bit of the White was patted on the browbone and blended lightly.
I then patted the Neon Green on the inner corner of the eye with a little bit of the White and Silver-Grey.
NYC liquid eyeliner was used for the top liner and creating a flick at the outer corner of the eye, whilst UD Perversion was used to liner the upper inner eye. Rimmel ScandalEyes Nude Khol eyeliner was used to line the inner corner of the bottom lashline.
I then filled in the brows with ELF cream liner in Brown and an angled brush and then finished off the
eyes with Maybelline Falsies mascara and Ardell 120 eyelashes.
The under eyes were concealed with Khuraira ACC and set with Ben Nye Banana Powder.
For the
rest of the face I used Estee Lauder Invisible Fluid foundation in 3WN1 and contoured with Sleek Face Form in Medium, then highlighted the cheeks and used the bronzer of the Urban Decay Naked Flushed palette. I set the foundation around the T-zone with Ben Nye Banana Powder.
The lips were filled in with UD SSLC in Lovechild:
Fuller face picture:
Voila! Hope you enjoyed this look, do let me know if you have any requests!
Would you wear this fairly dramatic smokey makeup look?
