I've been fairly busy with clients and organising my makeup masterclass being held next week Saturday as well as life in general, so I've barely had time to do makeup looks on myself but I managed to get a quick eye makeup look done the other night and thought I'd do a cut crease as I haven't done one in a while!
I went for a more dramatic looking one as opposed to a less obvious one following the natural contours of my eye, so here's the final look with products used, all except the eyeliner were by Motives:
> Eye Base
> Pressed eyeshadows in: Creme Fresh, Vanilla, Cappuccino, Chocolight, Aphrodite, Fantasy, Onyx.
> Inglot AMC Gel Liner - 77
> Khol eyeliner in Black
> Lustrafy Waterproof mascara (black)
> Creme Concealer - Amber
I applied Motives Eye Base all over the eye, then drew a line with the Khol eyeliner in Black in my crease and extended it on both ends. I then added black eyeshadow (Onyx) with a flat brush on the line and pushed the black shadow slightly upwards. I used a fluffy blending brush to add Chocolight above this and Cappuccino further above the Chocolight. I highlighted the brow bone with Creme fresh and blended Vanilla in between Vanilla and Cappuccino.
I then used a flat brush to pat on Aphrodite (lilac) eyeshadow on the eyelid from the inner corner to the middle of the eyelid. I then added Fantasy from the middle to the end of the eyelid and used a liner brush to use the same eyeshadow for the bottom lashline.
I went back and intensified the black eyeshadow above the crease as I felt it was needed.
After cleaning up the outer corner of the eye with a makeup wipe, I applied Inglot AMC gel liner to the top lash line and lined the inner eye with the Khol black eyeliner, filling in the brows with what was left on the brush from the gel eyeliner.
I then concealed under the eyes and curled the lashes, finishing of the eyes with Lustrafy waterproof mascara in black:
And there you have it! It's fairly dramatic, but thought I'd play around a bit as the last cut crease I did was in March (and much less dramatic!)
Would you wear this look? What colours or combinations would you wear if you did?
The cut crease is blended out perfectly!
