Last Sunday a few fellow beauty bloggers and I organised a meetup, to share views on beauty products and blogs as well as hold a beauty swap. We each brought a couple products - whether old, new, inappropriate or simply unwanted and met for lunch at Shepherds Bush Westfield.
We ate at the lovely Malaysian restaurant Jom Makan where the food was delicious and looked lovely!

Hafsa of Muslimah Beauty also gave us a preview of her lovely upcoming body products.. (shh)
We then shopped around a bit coming to a stop near the village, to sit down and do our beauty swap. Having worked up a thirst, we ordered lovely mocktails and got down to business.. it was a messy sight and the poor waiter had no idea what was going on!!

It started off quite orderly, but then we all ended up laying our products on the table; hence the chaos, but it was exciting having a look at the other bloggers items, especially those that you'd never seen before or have wanted to try but have never got to. I loved it!
Here's my favourites that I got to choose from the swap; I tried to choose one thing from each person so I could blog about them!

Can't wait to try these out properly.. the lashes with the strings is something I've never actually seen before.. I'm intrigued!
I've read about Daniel Sandler cosmetics but never tried any so when Aaliyah from Pyari Beauty brought it, I knew I had to try it!
I don't know if the Botanics tinted moisturiser is the right shade for me but I'll defo find out soon.
I deliberated over the Sleek Peaches & Cream lipstick as I thought it's way too light for my skintone.. It looks like a nice peachy colour though, so if it doesn't suit me, it'll be added to my makeup kit ;)
Finally, the MAC concealer was swapped for my UDPP; I did go up two shades this year after the two holidays, so I thought I'd swap.. again, even if it doesn't suit me I can use it in my kit!

I absolutely loved this meetup, I've never met fellow bloggers like this before so it was nice to chill and talk about what I'm most passionate about - beauty!
Can't wait for the next one, hopefully some time next year =D
